5 Most Entertaining Stories To Follow This NFL Season

most-entertaining-stories-to-follow-this-nfl-season

Alright football fans from across the land, the time we’ve all been waiting for is finally upon us. The 2021 NFL Season is finally here and after an offseason that has given fans and NFL predictions experts plenty to hope for in the near pro football future, there’s no better time than right now to start talking about what’s to come in the NFL this season.

While we could sit for hours and even days talking about some of the most important and entertaining stories to keep an eye on for this upcoming season, here are our picks for five must-see, most entertaining stories to follow and keep up within the 2021 NFL season.

1. Can The Buccaneers Have A Perfect Season?

Last year’s NFL offseason left us with a move that absolutely nobody was waiting for when Tom Brady left the New England Patriots and his title-winning dynasty with Bill Belichick to see what playing football in Tampa Bay for the Buccaneers was like. Well, that move ended up paying some great dividends, with the Bucs, led by Brady winning last year’s Super Bowl with a commanding performance against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Now, as the new season is here, the Bucs are not only looking as top favorites to take the Lombardi trophy once again, especially after having all 22 starters from that Super Bowl winning team all coming back for another run at the title, but the idea of Tampa Bay going for a perfect season might not be out of the question here. Picture it, 17-0? Given Tampa Bay’s schedule, their only real threats are against the Rams early on in the season and against Buffalo in December. Can the pull off a perfect season and win the Super Bowl? We’ll have to wait and see but all signs point to most probably.

2. Fans Returning To Stadiums

The most important non-game-related storyline that we’ll all be able to follow and enjoy once again is the welcoming of fans back into stadiums for NFL games. Last season was a test of endurance, patience, and perseverance, not only for the NFL and its teams but for the fans as well. Part of the magic that makes the NFL and its games so great is the excitement and passion factors that having fans on the stands brings to each matchup.

Now, after having to go through a season where all the cheers and noises in the stadiums were artificial and the only way for fans to be there with their beloved squads was through cardboard cutouts, all 32 NFL teams are ready to welcome fans back into their stands. While strict safety and health regulations will always play a pivotal part to maintain any health risks to a minimum, the idea of having fans back in the stands will give the game back what it missed the most last season, the love that the fans bring to it.

3. Will This Be Aaron Rodgers’ Last Season With The Packers?

One of the biggest talking points throughout the whole offseason was is Aaron Rodgers, the reigning league MVP, and leader of the Green Bay Packers was going to go back to Wisconsin to suit up for the Packers once again or if his time at Lambeau was done. After weeks of tension, speculation, and waiting, Rodgers returned, but for what initially looks like one last season before riding out somewhere else.

Could that somewhere else be another team? How about retiring? If this does end up being Rodgers’ last season with Green Bay, fans can be assured that it will be one of the best he’s ever played. With the help of Davante Adams and Aaron Jones, who knows, maybe we’ll see Rodgers put up another MVP caliber season and lead the Packers all the way to the NFC Championship game at least, if not the Super Bowl.

4. How Will Trevor Lawrence’s Career Begin In The NFL?

There’s usually a lot of pressure that comes from being taken as the No.1 pick in the NFL draft, especially if you’re a QB. Look at what happened with JaMarcus Russell, enough said. There’s even more pressure when you’re picked as the No.1 pick in the draft, as a QB and you’re slated as a generational talent that only comes every few years. All this is what Trevor Lawrence, the former Clemson Tigers legend QB will have to deal with in his first season with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the team that had the honors of selecting him with the first pick of the 2021 NFL draft.

Nobody can deny Lawrence’s talents, he’s as good as some of the game’s best and plays as smooth as his hair appears to be, but will his first season be a continuation of his fairy tale story in the pros? For now, all roads lead to no, not because of him, or his new coach, Urban Meyer, but because of the fact that the Jacksonville Jaguars are not a team that will be fixed with only adding a star QB. Jacksonville still has a myriad of issues to resolve before becoming a contending team, not even in the NFL, but in their own division. Lawrence will put up decent numbers, yes, but he won’t be the Jacksonville messiah everyone is expecting him to be, and that’s ok. Give the kid time to grow into his role and then we’ll probably see greatness.

5. Will The Titans Be The 2021 Version Of “The Greatest Show On Turf”?

If you’re a fan of explosive, dynamic and highlight reel style football, kind of like what the late 90’s and early 2000’s St. Louis Rams where when they were deemed as “The Greatest Show on Turf”, then you should definitely make it a point to watch the Tennessee Titans this season. Let’s start off with the first obvious reason why, RB Derrick Henry. Henry is poised the only player in NFL history to rush for 2,000+ yards in two seasons, and not just that, he’s gunning to be the first player to do it in consecutive seasons. When Henry runs the ball, not even a defense with the Hulk and Thanos could stop him and he looks like it’s either 2,000 or bust, with 2,000 looking like the more obtainable goal here.

Apart from Henry’s rushing the Titans went all out to give QB Ryan Tannehill enough reasons to not worry about who to pass to after signing one of the best WR’s this league has seen in the last few years, former Falcons star, Julio Jones. Pitting Julio Jones together with Pro Bowl receiver A.J. Brown even sounds unfair, but hey, sucks to not be Tennessee right now huh? While the Titans could brag about having one of the best offenses in the league last season, this season they will most probably be the 2021 version of “The Greatest Show on Turf”.

5 Pokies Myths, Busted

Published

on

pokies-myths-busted

Throughout Australia, Europe, and the rest of the world, pokies are much-loved by millions of people. In particular, slot machines have a huge fanbase in Australia. Throughout the 70s, 80s, and 90s, it was common to play pokies in land-based casinos as well as in clubs and bars – and this is still true to the present day.

Due to the insane popularity of pokies, several rumours and myths have emerged about the game over recent years. This guide is here for one reason: to dispel these myths!

Ready to learn? Here are five pokies myths, busted and proven wrong.

Myth 1: Playing Online is Difficult

Currently, most people prefer to play pokies online due to the fact it’s easier and more convenient. However, there’s an assumption that playing online is more difficult because the gameplay takes place through a screen and you’re reliant on a strong internet connection.

The good news is that playing pokies online isn’t difficult at all – in fact, it’s super simple. You can find out yourself by playing on various internet casino sites, like gambleonlineaustralia.com/casino/games/pokies/, where the gameplay is incredibly straightforward and easy to learn.

Myth 2: Pokies isn’t Beginner-Friendly

Many individuals look at pokies machines and assume that they aren’t beginner-friendly. This is fair – after all, pokies machines are usually dominated by symbols and flashing lights.

However, don’t let this deceive you. If you want to play pokies, all you need to do is spin the reels (whether you’re using a three or five-reel machine) and hope that you get a matching row of symbols. It’s that simple.

There are no complex rules or strategies involved in the game either. The only decision you need to make is whether to keep spinning the reels (this decision will be based on whether you win or not and how much money you have spare).

Myth 3: Pokies Requires a Lot of Money to Play

Speaking of money, here’s another funny pokies myth: you need a lot of money to play. This simply isn’t true. More often than not, you can play pokies with a small sum. In other words, the change in your pocket is enough to have a fun time on the machines.

Sure, if you want to, you can gamble with more money than usual – this is purely down to your own personal preferences. Ideally, though, you should only gamble with more money whilst playing pokies once you’ve gotten used to the machine mechanics (or the animations if you’re playing online, instead).

Myth 4: The More You Play, The More Chance You Have of Winning

While playing pokies, it’s normal to assume that the more games you play, the more chance you have of winning. But this is a dangerous mindset to adopt, as nothing is guaranteed in pokies.

You must remember that the machines are luck-based, not strategy-based. This means that the outcome isn’t in your hands – it’s purely down to how lucky you are on the day.

Myth 5: Pokies are Addictive

Finally, another myth surrounding pokies is that it’s a very addictive game. If you gamble responsibly and in a mature manner, pokies aren’t addictive – whether you play online or in person. It’s all about keeping your actions under control. This way, you’ll enjoy the experience and won’t get carried away with the game!

However, it’s highly recommended you don’t drink whilst gambling. This is because alcohol can lead to poor decision-making, such as sticking to a particular machine until you’ve run out of your funds.

Published

on

table-games-to-play-in-an-online-casino

When it comes to playing casino games online, there are two main categories: table games and slots. Table games include favorites like blackjack, roulette, and poker, while slots are the more traditional one-armed bandit style of game.

Choosing which type of game to play is a matter of personal preference, but there are a few things to keep in mind when making your decision. For example, table games tend to require more strategy and thought than slots, which are more of a pure luck game. That being said, slots can sometimes have bigger jackpots than table games.

Thus, if you’re looking to try your hand at casino gaming, what are some of the best table games to start with?

Blackjack

Everybody knows Blackjack! It is the most widely played casino banking game globally. Blackjack requires skill in assessing probability as you have to draw cards that total 21 or come closer to 21 than the dealer. Being an easy game to play with a chance of making money, players had an easy time falling in love with the game.

With Blackjack going online, it’ll advertise to players and bettors to play casino table games more. As its odds of winning are at their peak and the prizes it offers are big, Blackjack is the perfect table game you can play in online casinos. This game can double your bet or more as long as you keep pushing and beating the card dealer.

Craps

If you have a hundred percent trust in your luck, then craps are your game. This world’s most common dice game relies on the player’s pure chances. Craps require players to bet on the outcomes of a pair of dice. As it’s a game that requires little to no skill, both veteran and newbie bettors can win the game. It’s easy to play and easy to win.

With the hassle of going to casinos out of the way, the easy game of craps just got easier. With many casino websites catering craps online, this is the perfect time for the bettors to get and gamble their money’s worth. No other game offers you to win cash just by rolling the dice like craps, and with the help of technology, craps just got easier.

Poker

Skills. Luck. Big Prizes. These are the terms that a player should remember about poker. Poker is a table game whose goal is to have the highest-ranking poker hand and win the pot. Unlike many other games, poker is not all luck as it requires a significant amount of skill. Players have to use different strategies to gain an edge over their opponents.

As poker got available online, players and bettors who love to think and strategize would surely be at the front of this game. It is a highly competitive table game with the skills you need to win and the prize that comes with winning. With awards that can double your bet in no time, it is not a surprise that poker is a favorite amongst players.

Bacarrat

Thrill and excitement are the heart and soul of baccarat; together with its high probability of winning, this game will fit the taste of many players and bettors. Baccarat is a comparing card game between the player and the banker, and you must have the best card held to win the game. Player, banker, and tie are the outcomes of a game coup.

With the probability of winning and losing close at 50-50 odds, online casinos and gambling sites will sure enjoy the company of the players and bettors. Baccarat will surely give you your money’s worth in online casinos as it offers big prizes. Players should consider baccarat online as payouts range from 3:2 to 11:1, depending on the bet.

Roulette

Spin the wheel! With roulette involving a spinning wheel as part of the game, the players’ intensity and guessing will skyrocket. The game lets a player bet on a single number that’s either in red or black, then the wheel spins. Though its concepts are simple, players employ their strategies and game plan to bag a win from the game.

Straightforward concept and big prizes, that’s the promise that the roulette carries. And now that it’s available in online casinos, players and bettors should take advantage of this chance to try their luck and win prizes. As a game that relies heavily on luck and odds, newbie and veterans can play and win the game.

Final Thoughts

The best words players and bettors hear this day might be, “Casinos are now online.” With its relative ease and hassles-free instructions, the digitization of casinos is the thing of the future. Thus, players, bettors, and enthusiasts should grab this chance to try out their strategies and win their money.
